Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our team and work on a transportation-domain platform with a strong focus on EDI integrations
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services in Python.
Build and support integrations with external systems and partners.
Work with EDI/X12 messages, mappings, validation, and processing.
Develop asynchronous and event-driven services.
Work with AWS-based infrastructure and services.
Design and maintain APIs and integrations.
Troubleshoot integration and production issues.
Work closely with the rest of the engineering team on architecture and implementation
Requirements & Qualifications
Strong commercial experience with Python.
Experience with AWS.
Experience with backend APIs and system integrations.
Experience with message-driven/event-driven architecture.
Experience with relational databases.
Solid understanding of distributed backend systems.
