Role Overview
Mind Computing is seeking a full-time, 100% remote DevOps Engineer to support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will have strong experience with AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud security, with the ability to collaborate closely with development teams to support reliable and efficient application deployments.
The candidate must reside within the continental US
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB/ALB, and EKS.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and deployment workflows using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, network
