Key Responsibilities
As a Backend Developer at AICines, you'll build and scale the services powering AICines' AI video pipeline - APIs, data, and the infrastructure creators and viewers depend on.

Training, development & rotations
- Design and build APIs that power the streaming platform and creator tools
- Scale backend services to handle real production traffic
- Work on the data layer underneath AICines' AI video pipeline
- Fix real bugs and handle real scale problems as the platform grows
- Collaborate directly with founders and senior engineers on production systems
- You'll be paired with senior team members from week one and work directly on live problems rather than sandboxed exercises.
- Because AICines spans streaming, social product, AI generation, and film production, there's genuine scope to explore adjacent areas - infrastructure, data pipelines, or AI-adjacent backend work -
