Senior Software Engineer, Agents

is remote in the Netherlands or in Berlin, with a commitment to travel to the office (The Hague or Berlin) twice per week. What you will need 5+ years of development experience, including meaningful full-stack exposure. You are comfortable working across backend and frontend layers and you pick up new technologies independently. Depth in at least one technical area and broad competence across the stack. You have designed and shipped systems where performance, security, reliability, and maintainability all mattered, and you can explain the tradeoffs you made. Experience with strongly typed languages (Typescript, Java, dotnet, PHP, or similar). We operate in Go and React, and we back ourselves to get a seasoned engineer with strongly typed experience up to speed in our stack quickly. Hands-on experience building LLM agents, with evidence they were useful. You have built and shipped at least one non-trivial LLM-powered agent or agentic workflow, in production or as a side project with real users. You can speak concretely about the design choices you made around tool use, context and state, evals, failure handling, autonomy, cost, and latency and, just as importantly, what the agent changed for the people using it. Comfortable using AI coding tools as part of your daily development workflow. A track record of raising the level of engineers around you through mentoring, code review, and design feedback. Strong communication skills. You can translate technical tradeoffs for engineers, product managers, and leadership, and you write designs and decisions in a way others can build on. Knowledge of secure coding practices and secure development principles to build safe, trusted systems. Fluency in English is a must
